The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services is providing a great tool for providers to check their MIPS status for 2017. Providers can now check their status directly from the Quality Payment Program website. All you need is your NPI number to see if you meet this years requirements.
If you meet participation requirements for 2017 but you haven’t gotten started, it’s not too late to avoid unwanted penalties. It is also important to remember that if you are not required for 2017 that you can still participate. Requirement thresholds will be changing for 2018.
